I've liked this blog post and your previous one on teen stress. Good stuff. The economy causes so much stress on the hearts and minds of friends I know and people at church. This past couple of weeks we've had people come because they've lost their job.

I think one of the things I've been practicing is just taking a moment and breathing in the midst of it all. Looking for something wonderful in nature, etc.

I think too, spas are uniquely placed to offer some help in the stress relief arena. I would like to see more spas doing events focusing on stress. They could use the media to draw some attention in their local communities so that they could cover common sense ways to deal with that stress. Little things, like you mention, of getting one's clothes ready the night before and breathing/stretching exercises. Cover things how stress affects the body and things we can do in response.

Because chronic stress is definitely not safe.

Thanks again for some great blog posts. I've grabbed your feed and will be following!
