Beginners Guide: How to Organize a Spa Party

By holding a spa party you are joining the legions of modern women around the World. It is one of the top ten spa trends in the world. Spa parties can be held for bridal showers, birthday parties, hen parties, and girls’ night out. It is usually intended to gossip among friends while experiencing luxury pampering.  Common spa treatments for this kind of party include manicures, pedicures, and massages.

However, some people are still hesitant to throw a spa party despite it being a highly enjoyable event. The rest of this article will show you how to organize a spa party step-by-step start to finish so don’t worry and start the relaxation right now!

1. Price

In order to make it easier you need to be organized and give everyone options. Create three price options remembering that the more you pay the more you get!

The prices should range from:

• cheap option £40-60 per person,
• medium option £60-100pp and
• high-end £100+ pp 

There are many venues that cater for these prices so take a look don’t worry about the dates but look at what treatments are on offer. TOP TIP: Some venues will offer special spa packages with multiple treatments for a minimum number of people.

2. Dates

When you have chosen the price options look at when they are available for the maximum number of people. Give three possible dates for each price range.

3. Location and Extras

Location is important for transportation; however keep it local to the majority of the group. When speaking to the spa you ask if they have accommodation for an extra cost.  Does the spa package include food and drink? This will be an extra cost that should be noted.

4. Send Invitations

Send emails with the three price options including dates. The email should contain either a list of treatments for each price and/or a website link that explains what is included for the price. Include accommodation and food prices. This will give everyone a chance to give any opinions or suggestions for the spa party. Ask everyone to reply with their preferred spa party option. 

5. Confirmations

When you have received everybody’s preferred options make a decision on what to book and which date. Send a follow up email confirming what you will be booking and the cost involved. At this stage you can either ask for payment before booking or after.

6. Book and relax!

That’s it! Send a confirmation a week before to the group and to the spa. Easy as that, now wait for the day. Everything is booked and a day of spa pampering waits.
